Oran carries five stock patterns of obscure glass from which insulating glass units can be made. It is important to understand that in most cases some detail can be seen through ALL obscure glass patterns. The closer you are to the glass the more detail can be seen from the exterior.
PINHEAD: 100% coverage in a pattern resembling rough sandpaper.
GLUE CHIP: Looks like frost on a sheet of glass, some clear spots.
SILVIT: 100% coverage pattern in vertical, deep rough lines.
SYCAMORE: A leaf pattern with some clear areas.
FLEMISH: A rippled water effect that is clear and shows a lot of detail.
DELTA: Random ridges and dips with some clear areas.
CLEAR REEDED: Vertical lines about 3/4" wide glass is clear, shows a lot of detail.
OBSCURE REEDED: Vertical lines about 3/4" wide with a 100% rough finish, shows the least detail, much like Pinhead Obscure.
CLEAR GEORGIAN POLISHED WIRE: Clear 1/4" glass with a wire grid in the glass, 100% see through.
OBSCURE GEORGIAN POLISHED WIRE: Obscure 1/4" glass with a wire grid in the glass, some detail will show close up.
